Excellent beginning and middle but ended too suddenly. There are the usual KA Mitchell ingredients, powerfully hot and meaningful sex scenes and two gorgeous men who fail to communicate. All set well into interesting jobs and family dynamics. For the first maybe 80% it was a 5 star read then instead of becoming more open, Gavin's character seemed to become less accessible and harder to like. I couldn't see why he didn't understand Jamie's feelings. They seemed very obvious to me. Then I thought it was really strange that the whole storyline with Lily and the baby just went nowhere. It was such a pivotal element that I felt it needed to be part of the denouement. Apart from that though I loved it. I have a feeling this will be one of those books I enjoy better the second time around.
