This review is for book 1 & 2. A funny and subversive story but I didn't find it to be a 'life-changing experience' like some readers. The characters were well drawn and engaging. The book had way more plot than I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a big Daddy-kink PWP but in fact the physical scenes are relatively low-key. There were too many holes in the world building for my overly-analytical mind and I kept obsessing about little things like how the men were put into different categories by the Mothers in the first place, but I couldn't help smiling at the end when it becomes apparent that the 'boys' are not the only pawns and that women are definitely running the show.
