A sweet YA fantasy full of the usual faerie stuff like warring summer and winter courts, beautiful otherworldly fae, and names straight out of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Added to that is the typical YA heroine, innocent, noble and unknowingly full of magic power. The romance is just a small part and is obviously building up to a love triangle (not my favourite thing). But what I really liked were the unusual Iron Fey, the action-filled plot and the easy-to-read writing style. I also liked Meghan's travelling companion, Grimaldi, who is so like the Cheshire Cat that I was getting Alice In Wonderland flashbacks. I definitely enjoyed it enough to continue with the series.
