I'm glomming onto this author's backlist after enjoying another one of her books. This book had the dreaded flashbacks but they weren't overwhelming and I surprised myself by enjoying them. It was a good story with a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. Sympathetic characters and nice sense of family from Caleb's relations. Good sex scenes when the MC's finally get together. Like with her other novel I read the writing felt slightly amateur in places. The 'everyone falls in love with the heroine' theme got a bit silly at the end with 'Uncle Joe'. I liked that although Caleb got jealous he was not an alpha A-hole. Loved his poetry.
